Purpose:
Directing buyers / procurement coordinators throughout the process of evaluating suppliers, conducting interviews with vendors, negotiating supplier agreements and managing supplier and vendor contracts.

Basic Function & Scope of Job:
- Supporting and directing procurement team
- Ensuring the implementation of below pillars of central procurement department:
- Value for money
- Open and effective price competition
- Ethics and Fair dealing
- Accountability and Reporting
- Equity
- Cost Benefit & Vendor analysis reporting
- Managing Sub-contractor agreements, scope, cost and risk management
- Managing Outsourcing and vendor risks
- Effective negotiation skills – Technically and commercially
- Setting up and managing RFP & RFQ processes
- Support other departments management in decision making for major procurements related to special projects
- Developing the Procurement process and strategy
- Collecting and approving purchases as per the annual operating plan
- Aligning with Corporate Planning on the annual purchases to be aligned with total company Budget
- Obtaining best deals for the company and help reduce costs to improve profitability
- Implementing regular evaluation of Major suppliers
- Creating scorecards evaluation for the suppliers
- Transforming the Procurement Department towards becoming strategic function in the organization
- Supporting affiliates and rolling out procurements process and strategies
- Regular update of PO terms and conditions

- Excellent reporting skills and story telling, ability to support management on decision making
- Excellent negotiations and analytical skills and aptitude to draw out plans and assess accurately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent MS office skills + knowledge of SAP or Business Objects preferred

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Business. MBA is a plus.
Years & areas of Experience:
