Job Description – Product Engineer Airside
- Assist the Product Manager in market research and competitor analysis for Airside Products
- Assist the Product manager in gathering the voice of the customer (VOC) and regional teams in the design and development of the New Products
- Assist the product manager in developing business cases for new products and product upgrades
- Liaise with factory R&D team and conduct monthly meetings to ensure the product development activities are on track
- Developing Product Marketing Tools including Presentations and Catalogues/Brochures
- Develop and maintain Quick pricing tool, Product Master specification and Product guide specification
- Provide trainings on new products and product changes to Project development engineers, Sales Engineers, and distributors
- Deliver presentation on Product portfolio, New Product offerings to Clients, Consultants and Key Customers
- Provide trainings to Project development engineers and distributors on selection optimization and value engineering guidelines to maximize profitability
- Review and evaluate special options requirements and support SQ (Special Quote) needs by providing cost and lead time.
- Identify improvements/new options required in selection software and communicate to the software team. Testing of the improvements/new options before rolling out
- Assist the product manager in Factory Cost down activities including Product modification and standardization initiatives, identifying and techno commercial qualification of new vendors
- Lead the factory audits related to product certifications
- Review of Commercial and Technical Bids for Mega Projects
Qualifications – Product Engineer Airside
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Airside Equipment Application Engineering/Product Engineering/Technical Support
- Sound knowledge of airside product and key components
- Sound knowledge of the Airside Systems
- Sound knowledge of International and Local HVAC Standards like ASHRAE, Eurovent, AHRI, VDI 6022 & DIN 1946, Estidama (Abudhabi),Dubai Green Building Regulation etc
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as product selection software’s
- Determined, results-driven, strong techno commercial drive
- Strong logical, analytical and presentation skills
