Products
4x Daikin AHU – Modular R including DX module
1x Daikin AHU – Professional including HW, DX coil and control panel
The situation
The project covered educational facilities in the municipalities of Putten and Ermelo, with the 4 Modular R units installed in the school in Putten and the Professional unit installed in the school in Ermelo. Both systems will ensure excellent air quality in the classrooms and offices, as well as providing heating and cooling comfort.
One of the main drivers for choosing Daikin was sustainability. The schools are UN Eco-School certified, so were looking for HVAC systems that would help them achieve their challenging sustainability goals by using highly energy efficient AHUs powered by solar energy.
The project also aimed to create a safe and healthy environment for both students and employees, providing them with comfort and good indoor air quality.
The solution
Daikin met the end user’s needs in terms of energy efficiency thanks to its advanced technology as well as creating a good indoor environment for people.
Indoor air is usually more polluted than outdoor air as it contains a wide range of particles or even viruses. So poor indoor air quality is a symptom of an unhealthy environment, which negatively impacts people’s cognitive abilities or causes them to fall ill more often. Good ventilation systems can reduce this, creating healthier spaces.
Daikin air handling units help ensure proper ventilation of the premises and filtration of indoor air, so the occupants can breathe the purest possible air while working or studying.
