What is VRT?
VRT stands for Variable Refrigerant Temperature, a technology that allows the VRV system to be customized to achieve high seasonal energy efficiency.

With the VRT mode configured on a VRV equipment, the evaporating temperature (Te) increases as the ambient temperature is reduced; thereby, resulting in lower compressor power and higher energy efficiency.

Why is VRT so Important?
The VRV is an energy-efficient system that relies on varying refrigerant volume to meet the load requirement. The VRT improves the efficiency of the VRV system by automatically adjusting the refrigerant temperature ,not only based on load, but also on weather conditions to achieve an additional 25% Seasonal Cooling Efficiency.

With this additional cooling efficiency, the end-user is assured of lower energy consumption and faster returns on investment.
Our leading VRV outdoor units
-
Since the launch of Ururu Sarara in 2013, the first air conditioner to use R-32 refrigerant, we have worked to convert our portfolio to lower GWP refrigerants. The launch of the VRV 5 S-series, a completely newly developed unit specifically for R-32 refrigerant, is the latest evolution.
